Good things happen, though in smaller measure. Being few and far between, it behooves us to savor every last morsel. Especially, since it could all be gone tomorrow.
We live for these moments, and look forward to the next. Life is full of misery, but it is the little things we must cherish. In the end, they are what is important.
The daily drudgery comes and goes, but we will remember what made us smile. Despite what evoked such mirth, we treasure it. When the days grow cold, we cling to that warmth.
People try to take away the joy of others. If they were to succeed, the world would be as wretched as they. Protect what you love, lest the enemy snatch it from you.
There is nothing wrong with being happy. A smile can chase all the bad things away. When they are gone, you will see just how bright the world can be.
Laughter is indeed the best medicine. Enjoyment is infectious: it spreads to any who will receive it. Drink it in deep, and your every step will be a lighter one.
The good things that happen in life should not be taken for granted. We should not wait until sorrow comes around to realize how good things were. This post reminds me of a Bob Ross quote "You can't know happiness unless you've known sorrow.” but that aside, we should take the time to laugh, smile, and play while we are still able. Don't let the small things get you down, always look forward to a bright tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteIf we take those things for granted, we will be miserable indeed. Sorrow is always just around the corner. We must cherish the happy moments while we have them.
DeleteYes, we are perfectly aware of this. It's not news. What may be news is that the fairyland way still seems to fix the problem locally. It pushes out the people who are causing the problems and it draws those who care to the cause. More people need to be doing this. If you want to live your life behind a shield, then by all means find something to laugh about. Some of us are actually trying to fix things in tiny little ways, and anyone and everyone is welcome to join us so that tiny becomes something great. Go Figments!
ReplyDeleteIt is hard to make things better for others when you cannot make them better for yourself. The good things that happen are often taken for granted, Tommy. If the desire is to fix things, then adopting an attitude that will make it worthwhile is a must.
