There is a difference between having an idea and making it a reality. Notions come quite readily. The real challenge is in making things happen.
If you wish to be successful, be prepared for a long haul. So many are competing for the prize. It is not enough to be good, you must be better.
Vision gets you moving in a direction. Resilience will keep you going when things get rough. The combination of the two can lead to success.
Those easily discouraged need not apply. In such an arduous climb, there are many cuts and scrapes. If you give up easily, just give in now.
What may seem to be a shortcut, could be a dead end. There is no substitute for hard work. At the end of the day, you will have something to show.
Ideas are what get you started. The hard part is in bringing what is between your ears to life. That takes a game plan, and the ability to adapt.
An idea gives us the spark to get the ball rolling, making the vision come to life takes a determined hand. Things may turn out better or worse than you imagined but it takes a discerning heart to know what to keep or throw away. In the end our reward is seeing our vision through to the end and the enjoyment of it becoming a reality.
ReplyDeleteA spark can light a fire, but it must be fed for it to grow. Our blood, sweat and tears are the fuel. Without the effort, the flames die out.
DeleteI personally would want to check in on the person who is getting easily discouraged. I am not saying that anything will come of it. It's just that some people get cynical because of past indoctrination. You still had a point, but these things are not always black and white. Some people just need someone to inspire them.
ReplyDeleteInspiration is fine, but it is useless without action. It takes effort to realize a dream. Everyone gets discouraged, but it is not a reason to give up.
