Acquitting ourselves

What we think does not change what is. Without all knowledge, you cannot trust the little you have. Think of all the many times we have been wrong.

It takes courage to venture into the unknown. Learn all you can, but understand it is only a piece of a bigger picture. For our lives are part of the story.

The things we do are designs on the tapestry of reality. Take care, for you do not know the effect that you have. The next generation is there watching.

Will we acquit ourselves well or poorly? It is in our hands to do good or ill. However, it is our hearts that will ultimately decide which one it shall be.

Take each day as it presents itself. Fret not the past, for the time has gone by. It is in this moment we should live, and make it better than ever before.

While you tread the earth, walk with purpose. We are responsible for how it turns out. May each step be ever onward, climbing upward, never ceasing.

  1. With little knowledge we must rely on the wisdom of the heart to guide us on our journey. For better or worse our path should be our own to walk, but we should be ever mindful of what we leave in our wake.

    1. We all bear our own burdens. You can help others, but you cannot do it for them. Ultimately, one must stand alone.

  2. I really hate blogs that try and tell me to second guess everything I am doing. How am I supposed to know how my actions will affect others? Seems like everyone gets microaggressed too easily these days. Nothing you say is right.

Turn your talents into a nail. Place nail into world. Smack that mother all the way in. Some people will get in the way, and others will see what you are doing and bring extra wood and nails. We're trying to make the planet a better place people! Stop trying to stop us!

    1. You must care to make things better. That means taking care not to make things worse. Do what you do, but be aware of the effect you might have.

  3. True. All that said, knowledge is always after the fact. What was imagined was created by a creator. The fan boys neither imagined nor created but know everything about the creation. Well, they think so. That's how we got the Cult of the Sludge Monkey.

    1. That is why we cannot trust anything we know. If you do not have all of it, then what you have is unreliable. If you care, you will make things better without it.
