Broken vessels

The very essence of evil is a lack of substance. It is nothing where there should be something. Redemption is not about changing, but becoming the person you were meant to be.

People strive to control others in a desperate attempt to control their world. They succeed only in stifling what they do not like. Pretty soon, even they will have trouble breathing.

No two humans think, talk or act alike. So, expecting them to agree is foolish and presumptuous. Caring makes things better, and the opinions of man are merely obstacles to enlightenment.

The solution to all life's problems is really quite simple: care more. That means taking action to deal with your problems. Excuses just mean the vessel will keep on leaking.

Those who demand change do not intend to look within. Instead, they wish to bend others to their will. If they succeed, all will be the worse for it.

Broken vessels cannot hold water. Until all the gaps are sealed, nothing is accomplished. Do not be concerned about the evils you see until you can face your own reflection.

  1. Yes, you should care for people. But if it becomes obvious after two years that such caring is not understood or even wanted then it becomes a case of simply casting pearls before swine. Move on, and focus your attentions on people whose light shines brighter in the world. Don't let people like that drag you into their own mire. Be their friend, be there for them, but otherwise, move on.

    1. People can disagree about everything and still care, Tommy. Expecting to be understood is missing the point. Caring should always be without strings attached.

  2. Very true, the essence of evil is a lack of substance. I see too often lately that there is no substance to the opinions of the masses, they wish to change the world to fit an agenda that cares little for them. As you said the solution to all life's problems is to care more. If people would wake up they would realize they are serving a dark master that only wishes to control. Caring means that we must look within to find the truth and live it.

    1. Those clamoring for change are really interested in control. They will only succeed in sucking the life out of everything. It is with a liberal application of guilt that they have come this far.
