Thoughts and feelings

We tend to take what we think quite seriously. Whether it can be backed up or not is of little concern. If we say it, then the matter has been settled.

Our knowledge is limited at best. With so many pieces of the puzzle missing, why guess what the picture is? Just wait for the truth to be revealed.

Two cents is really just a penny and some change. Will what you wish to say make anything better? If not, then it is not worth saying to begin with.

Often we let our feelings decide our actions. No serious decisions should be made according to one's mood. Emotions are notoriously unreliable.

People assert themselves to seem important. What does it matter to have the support of one's followers? Their approval changes nothing.

Voicing a thought does not make it so. No matter how strong the feeling, it could be wrong. Show you care and leave the grandstanding to others.

  1. Our thoughts and feelings can be used as a tool for creation or a means of destruction. We are meant for greater things, why waste time attempting to bring others down or voicing our will on others?

    1. Unfortunately, thoughts and feelings tend to be used as weapons. Yet, they are unreliable for they can be neutralized quite easily. Such things are volatile, and will fall apart at the worst possible time.

  2. I know you probably aren't specifically talking about me, but I do believe that there is a precedence to God forcing someone to hold onto a fallible point once they have made a certain choice. I go after you a lot knowing that you can't help yourself. At some point you made a decision that your creative endeavors were not as important as being a wise man. God is holding you to it. Technically there is no reason for me to go after you at all.

In my heart, I tend to be a bit of a spiritual scientist. You weekly spit out gobs of the inane worldly bullshit, delivered on a nice silver platter for me. It gives me a platform to refute them one by one. Although I would love for you to change, I don't actually expect you to. I don't think you can. I think God is forcing your hand. He led you into temptation and you took the bate.

    It's too bad. You're a great writer.

    1. Once again, there are too many trees to see the forest. Thoughts and feelings tend to lead us astray. Once the truth has been revealed, the mouths will be silenced.
