Meeting the challenge

We all do things we would rather not. If we only did what we desired, very little would be accomplished. So much would go to waste.

Life is not an easy road. That is why so many perish in the struggle for survival. It takes a great deal of intestinal fortitude to meet the challenge.

What must be done should be our chief concern. The focus of a child is on what they want. We have grown beyond to a world of responsibilities.

Invoking one's feelings is a sign of weakness. It shows that you cannot handle your own affairs. Be assured, there are plenty out there who will.

When all is provided, you are at the mercy of the providers. They do not care about your best interests. In their eyes, everyone is expendable.

Those who do not stand will be carried about. Do not expect the destination to be to your liking. The only means of escape is to rise up and walk.

  1. It's... It's the same blog every week. x.x I ran a search of a focus phrase from this blog and it pulled up like 10 other ones. Also one of them was your super long "Appreciation" blog from 2015. You write fiction, Don. Talk about that. The record needs to be changed. We get the freaking point. Life is hard. Persevere. Don't let the problems of others bring you down. BLAH BLAH BLAH! YOUR POINT WAS MADE FOR THE LAST FOUR YEARS! WE GET IT!

I think its time to do a review of your own blog and try to change things up. Because this... THIS BLOG IS SHIT. The theme is fine for like one year, but... dear God... It hasn't changed in years. You have like a running 4 or 5 things you just repeat OVER AND OVER.

You are a writer, A VERY GOOD ONE! You have an imagination still, I assume. Please, for the love of GOD, implement it into these blogs somehow rather than sounding like some boring old wise man from India who randomly pops out fortunes when someone bumps into him.

    YOU ARE BETTER THAN THIS!

    1. It is okay to write fantasy, but not to live it. Certain themes are recurring, because we deal with them on a daily basis. What is most important is for what we write to be relevant.

  2. It's true that life can be a hard road, one that can seem that we have to walk alone. If we follow The Way however, we will never be alone in our hardships.

    1. Though not alone, much is expected of us. We must rise to the challenge placed before us. Or else, that which is good will not last.
