If a person cares, you will see it in their actions. Talk is cheap, and people indulge in it far too readily. Actions are all that is important, and will tell what words cannot.
Is it better to talk about helping, or do something about it? One is passive and the other is active. Almost as if they believe making funny sounds come from their lips can do anything.
You can tell more about a person by what they do, than what they say. Words are a means to communicate. But without action, there is no substance to what is said.
People often say one thing and do another. Only that which is demonstrated is so. What is intended means nothing, until you take the unreal and give it form.
It is possible to make things happen, if you do more than you say. What is told should be the recounting of what is done. Otherwise it is just air between the ears.
We live in a world where words are the weapon of choice. But winning such a battle is a hollow victory. In the end, you have nothing to show but hot air freely expended.

Those that can
Those that can, do; the rest never cease to complain. They seem to think vehemence is a substitute for substance. If they were busy doing, there would be no time to whine.
Like little children, so many vociferate about the unfairness of their situation. They will not lift a finger to help themselves. Yet, they feel the world is beholden to them.
They expect a lot for their nothing. If they were gone tomorrow, who would miss them? Think of the peace and quiet that would follow their passing.
What is up to you... is up to you. We came into this life the same way, and can bring nothing with us when we go. The worth of our existence is judged by what we did with the time we had.
Life is not, never has been, and never will be fair. You get out what you put into it. If you want things to get better, there is a great deal of work to be done.
By saying you cannot do something, you have already admitted defeat. Remember all things are possible. But it requires maximum effort to achieve optimal results.

No worse enemy
There is no worse enemy than oneself. No matter how many battles are won on the outside, it means nothing if you cannot conquer your own demons. The first step is to recognize that you are the problem.
Whatever a person does is right to them. When confronted with their faults, they will rationalize such things as personality traits. And then, they will proceed to defend that which should be condemned.
It is nigh impossible to improve what has already been accepted. Instead, you will turn on those who took issue with it. For the real desire is not to face yourself, but to face down your critics.
People are overly critical, so you cannot always believe what they say. But if nothing good comes from what you are doing, then you should stop doing it. Self-discipline negates the need for correction.
Those full of advice, tend to be the last ones to take it. They will point fingers at everyone else. It is easier to tell someone else what to do, than it is to look at yourself.
If you are going the wrong way, you have but to turn around. Do not look back, for you may like what you see. Just keep going, and leave your failings in the dust far behind.

Balancing act
Creative juices must flow, but without balance they will go everywhere. Constraint is unnecessary, they must merely be focused to be effective. Recklessness is not freedom, it is chaos.
That which is done with heart is never haphazard. While not everything is planned, nothing is arbitrary. There is a goal, no matter how far it strays from the beaten path.
Keeping an open mind, does not mean letting everything spill out. You must understand the rules and appreciate them, before deciding to break them. Tear down only in preparation to build.
We live in a world where standards have been tossed by the wayside. Without form, everything falls to ruin. If everyone speaks at the same time, no one will be heard.
Balance what you want with what you need. Those who neglect their responsibilities think they can outrun the wind. But these things have a way of catching up with you.
Without flow, everything grinds to a halt. That which is not balanced, tips over and makes a mess. Both are required to keep things moving in a positive direction.
